Protected Area Management, Resource Surveys and Biodiversity
2002	International – Environment Specialist – Desk Review – Assessing Linkages between Biodiversity Conservation and Poverty Alleviation. World Bank. Duration – 0.75 months.
2002	Tonga – Biological Coordinator - Maninita Island Sanctuary project, Vava'u. Coordinated the removal of rats by Dept. of Conservation New Zealand specialist and Tongan counterparts. Project duration – 2.0 months.
2001	Tonga – Wildlife Ecologist and Protected Area Management Specialist – Preliminary Survey of Maninita Island, Vava’u to determine potential as a wildlife sanctuary and/or ecotourism (March 2001). Followed by a full Baseline Survey in November 2002. Commissioned by Tourism Resource Consultants, Wellington, on behalf of New Zealand Overseas Development Administration. Duration – 0.5 months.

1998	Tuvalu – Wildlife Ecologist –terrestrial fauna survey of the Funafuti Marine Conservation Area. Commissioned by SPREP for the South Pacific Biodiversity Conservation Programme.

1995	Indonesia - Biodiversity and Impact Assessment specialist in a five man international team commissioned by CIFOR (Centre for International Forestry Research, Bogor) to undertake the second test of five sets of criteria and indicators for the sustainable management of forests.
